PROM RULES

The Central Virginia Homeschool Prom Committee requires that:

Dress Code for Prom 2024

1. Clothing must not have offensive language or inappropriate images.
2. Undergarments must be fully covered.
3. Dress and skirt length must be no more than 4 inches above the knee when standing. If the
dress is sheer, the sheer portion must be no more than 4 inches above the knee. Slits should be
no higher than 4 inches above the knee.
4. Backless dresses must not plunge more than 4 inches below the bra line. Cut-outs, mesh, or
sheer material is not permitted more than 4 inches below the bra line. Revealing necklines and
bare midriffs are prohibited.
5. Sheer material does not bring a dress into compliance with the code.
6. Modesty is the goal. If an outfit is deemed inappropriate, the student may be denied entry.
7. Students are expected to dress according to their biological sex.

Code of Conduct:

1. Every attendee must check-in and show PRINTED proof of ticket purchase confirmation, signed agreement, and
Once admitted to the dance, students will not be allowed to leave and re-enter.
2. Each student must turn in their own signed agreement, and
they will then be issued a wrist band that must be worn during the event.
3. This is a chaperoned event. Attendees agree to respect the authority of all chaperones/adult supervisors. Those who break
the rules will be asked to leave and will need to stay with an chaperone if their ride is not immediately available.
4. Attendees will stay within physical boundaries of event and not
leave premises or venture into areas designated as off limits.
5. Dancing must remain clean and appropriate
6. NO tobacco/vaping/alcohol/drugs/weapons.
7. No pets or animals, other than recognized service animals, are allowed
8. Only one person allowed per bathroom stall. If someone needs assistance, please get a chaperone.
9.By allowing your teen to attend this event, parents agree to hold harmless Chelsea and Nathan Newcomb, the Bandits Ridge committee, and their representatives in event of accident and/or injury.
10. Parents are responsible for picking up at scheduled end time of 10 PM. Anyone needing to leave early must make arrangements with chaperones at check-in table.
11. Mature behavior expected. If student is asked to leave early by a chaperone, parent will be contacted, the student must wait with oversight from a security team member, and no refund will be issued.

12. All attendees must be between 13 and 19 years old (homeschool students and their guests).
